The pressure spring

Function: Oral movement of bicuspids and molars

The pressure spring, which attacks from buccal and resembles the Bonyhard clasp, is predominantly used on bicuspids but can also be applied on molars as shown here.

The bridge portion that leads to the retention should be bent in such a way that the tooth is not disturbed in its oral movement.

The exposed loop makes activation easy.
